Oku Okut Press, is pleased to announce its archive policy in line with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results:

Oku Okut Press allows authors to use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.

Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source should be cited and a link should be set to the journal homepage or DOI of the articles.

Authors can download the output of the article as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to their colleagues without any embargo.

Oku Okut Press allows all versions of articles (sent version, accepted version, published version) to be stored in an institutional or other archive preferred by the author without embargo.

The audit uses the LOCKSS system to allow permanent archives to be created. Based on Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to provide libraries and publishers with access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of "securing large numbers of copies". The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.

Oku Okut Yayinlari has chosen to deposit and open up citation data via the Initiative for Open Citations I4OC. See. I4OC list: Initiative for Open Citations: I4OC (Oku Okut Yayinlari)

What is open access publishing?
Oku Okut Publishing is committed to gold open access, as it is practiced in the social sciences and the humanities. Gold OA is the free, immediate, and permanent online access to a publication’s version of record. All our books can be read online or downloaded as a free PDF. Our commitment to access also influences our pricing of the print edition and other digital editions. To protect our publications and the rights of our authors, we release all material under a Creative Commons license.

Does publishing in open access make my work vulnerable to misuse?
Oku Okut Publishing allows authors and editors to retain copyright of their work. We release all our publications under a Creative Commons license. Creative Commons has been involved in conversations surrounding the open movement since the very beginning. Their licenses are used to protect many open access materials. The majority of Oku Okut Publishing publications are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

How much does it cost to publish an open access monograph?
Open access material is freely accessible but not free to produce. Oku Okut Publishing's publication process does not differ from other press. Therefore, the costs associated with publication are similar. Book typesetting and special cover design fee are charged from the author (90 USD). For a useful report on the average costs of producing a scholarly monograph, see the ITHAKA S+R Report on “The Costs of Publishing Monographs: Toward a Transparent Methodology.”
