ISNAD Endnote is a system developed to standardize referencing in textbooks and educational materials. The ISNAD Endnote Guide explains how various types of publications should be cited in endnotes and bibliographies, accompanied by examples. The guide is organized into separate sections based on the type of work. For books, it provides a wide range of referencing examples, from anonymous works to edited and translated publications. Additionally, special citation rules are outlined for sacred texts such as the Qur’an and the Bible, in both printed and online formats. The guide addresses not only academic sources such as articles, theses, and reports but also contemporary sources such as newspaper articles, websites, databases, and audiovisual materials. Furthermore, it includes examples tailored to classical literature, such as handwritten manuscripts, hadith sources, and Greco-Roman classics. Specific reference rules for interviews, legal texts, maps, and works of art are also covered, demonstrating the guide's broad applicability. This guide serves as a critical reference for authors and publishers preparing textbooks and educational materials, ensuring consistency and practicality in citation practices.
