About

Oku Okut Press was established on February 5, 2021, by the Oku Okut Association to publish research works in the fields of social and human sciences. Adopting open-access, non-commercial, academic publishing, the publisher aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge through high-quality scientific journals and books that comply with international standards. To include its publications in national and international literature, the publisher acquires ISBN, ISSN, and DOI numbers, and ensures that works are included in national library catalogs and electronic indexes. The target audience of the publisher consists of academics, researchers, graduate students, and relevant academic institutions and organizations. Libraries, researchers, and readers can access, store, and freely share the published works in PDF format. |

Peer Review Process |
Review Timing: After submission Reviewed Object: Full Manuscript Review Process: Multiple peer reviewers Review Process: Double blind peer review Decision process: Articles – Editor; Books - Editorial board The Oku Okut Press adopts double-blind peer review policy in journals and books it publishes. All manuscripts sent to the Oku Okut Press for publication are subject to preliminary control to ensure that there is no incompetence in terms of the basic requirements, and plagiarism check through iThenticate software before initiation of the peer-review process. Academic books are subjected to independent and external peer review prior to publication. The external experts take charge for peer review, not editorial staff or board members The external reviewers are identified by the Editor-in-Chief. The owner does not involve in editorial decision making. The reviewer reports are assessed by Editorial Board. The revised manuscripts is assessed by the Editor-in-chief. Final decision is given by editor-in-chief in journal. Books are subject to final review of the Oku Okut Press Editorial Board. The Editor-in-Chief communicates the decision to the authors. |

Publication Charge Info |
For all books accepted for publication after the scientific evaluation, Oku Okut Press charges a fee of 1500 Turkish Lira for members of the Oku Okut Association and 2500 Turkish Lira for non-members as the cover design, typesetting of the full text and DOI assignment charge. All other charges of the Oku Okut Press are covered by Okut Okut Association. The books are offered to readers completely free of charge. |
