Establishment and Publishing Purpose
Oku Okut Press was founded on February 5, 2021, by the Oku Okut Association to publish research, compilations, and translations in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
Our publishing house adopts a completely open access and non-commercial scientific publishing model. Works deemed suitable for publication by the Editorial Board are made freely available to readers in e-book formats.
By adhering to international publishing standards and ethical principles, Oku Okut Press aims to disseminate high-quality open access books and contribute to the spread of ever-growing scientific knowledge.
Copyright and Licensing
All works published by Oku Okut Press retain scientific copyright with the authors, while the editorial copyright is held by the publisher. All publications are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
This license permits users to share, reproduce, adapt, and reuse content in any format for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper attribution is given to the original source.
All publications are provided in PDF and EPUB formats.
Archiving Policy and Open Access Infrastructure
Oku Okut Press is pleased to announce its archiving policy in line with the principles of open science.

LOCKSS and Long-Term Preservation
Oku Okut Press uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system for digital preservation. LOCKSS is an open-source digital preservation software developed under the leadership of Stanford University.
This system ensures that published content is securely stored in library-based networks and remains accessible in the long term.
