Islamic Philosophy Studies

The Islamic Philosophy Studies by Oku Okut Press features scholarly and original contributions to philosophical inquiries within the Islamic intellectual tradition. Topics include metaphysics, epistemology, moral philosophy, political theory, concepts of being and knowledge, and the reason–revelation relationship, examined through both classical figures (al-Fārābī, Avicenna, Averroes, Mullā Ṣadrā, etc.) and contemporary Muslim philosophers. The series addresses structured philosophical schools such as Peripateticism, Illuminationism, and Transcendent Philosophy, as well as the interrelations between philosophy, theology, Sufism, and modern thought in an interdisciplinary framework.
